Dear Ones,
Watching my husband's blog following grow daily, and seeing how user-friendly his site is, I decided to move to Wordpress and make a new home there for Musings From Mary.  From now on, find me at:

The whirlwind of summer has run itself out.  It's time for me to recommit to sharing my musings more regularly.  I have this wonderful post taped up on my wardrobe--I see it every morning when I am getting dressed for the day. When I found it, I decided to type it up in the colors of our 7 major energy centers, or chakras, and meditate on them in terms of chakra placement. 

Write as if your life depended upon it!   
1st Chakra--our grounding.  Grounding my life in my writing...my creative life, and to some degree my spiritual life.
 
Get in front of readers by writing great content.   
2nd chakra--The belly...the womb...where creativity is conceived and nurtured.
 
Be Prolific!  
3rd chakra--Where the Fire is...where action originates...the "doing" center...

Write to change the world!   
4th chakra--The Heart Center...it is what has always mattered to me and inspired whatever work I am involved in...and no less so my writing...to make a difference in the world for good--to be a light bearer...
 
Be audacious and step up on stage.   
5th chakra--The throat center--where the voice is...
 
Step out of your comfort zone! 

6th chakra--The mind...the 3rd eye...where I have to be willing to let in new information, to change, to allow the flow of inspiration from Spirit...

..PRACTICE!    
7th chakra--Making writing and being a conduit for Spirit my way of being...
